I have owned these and many other Wusthof Classic series knives for years and have found them to be of excellent quality. They are very user friendly, aren't difficult to maintain, and sharpen and hold an edge very well. I have quite a few knives (many more than I need) and the Classic series knives have been my go to knives for many years. One of the knives in the set I'm reviewing is second from the top in the middle with the completely worn away lettering, it's had daily use for at least thirty years, the set I just bought was a gift and the recipient was very pleased to receive it.
