These are NOT serrated -- high quality steak knives are never serrated, because serrated knives can't be sharpened properly or easily, while these can be sharpened just like any other high quality kitchen knife. Serrated steak knives are generally used where you need something cheap (like in a restaurant) that can still reasonably saw through whatever is on a plate.
