Opinel Bread Knife #116, Stainless, Serrated, 21cm/8.25", Beechwood handle

20 items left

An excellent bread knife. Very sharp, strong stainless steel blade. Cuts through the toughest, crustiest breads or other food items. Curved blade and comfortable real wood handle make it a pleasure to use. With its wooden handle and classic good looks, it also looks really nice when used with a wooden cutting board use when dining, for bread and cheese service for example.

Wash by hand, dry and store as soon as possible after use for long life. Do NOT put in dishwasher.

Made in Portugal.

Opinel Bread Knife (#116) Review

After several months of using the Opinel Bread Knife (#116) I can honestly report that I’m very happy with the elegant simplicity of this knife and it’s performance... it effortlessly allows me to make, thin, accurate slices from my crusty sourdough loaves.

Purchasing the above knife from ‘Paul’s Finest’ was a very pleasurable experience. Before placing the order I contacted the company to verify the blade composition. I received a prompt response from Paul (how often these days does one get a response from the owner of the company) who knowledgeable answered my questions. I then place the order and the knife was shipped and received within three days. In addition, the item was packaged without plastic... Fantastic!

Great bread knife

Sharp and great angle on the blade for cutting bread. Good value knife from a solid company. Good, swift service from PaulsFinest--first time customer but was pleased.

Very " Nice " Beechwood-Handle and Useful knife !

I really like this OPINEL Bread-Knife ... it is nice and thin and sharp with a very strong high-carbon-stainless-steel blade !.. My only deception is that they " removed " their Legendary " OPINEL SAVOIE FRANCE " black Printed LOGO on the Beechwood-Handle : because it is MADE IN PORTUGAL ... NOT IN FRANCE !.. The " Steel-Blade " is still brand-name identified, as usual ... but Not the wood-handle !
