The ultimate leveling stone. Phenomenal feed back, very fast leveling, treat it well and it should last a very long time.

As above, it's a great starter stone for undamaged, just dull, kitchen knifes. Does not remove as much material as course grades. Puts a nice bead on before the next step, 1000 grit.
With proper use and care this double plate will last a long time. To keep it flat, as it happens, it's the minimum approved grit for the Shapton Diamond Glass Lapping plate.

This is a great set. Will get any knife, regardless of condition, razor blade sharp. Splash and Go stones offer far less mess and are long lasting.

We use this knife for everything. Truly a fine utility knife as it is great for so many things. There is nothing else like it for tomatoes, cucumbers, etc., but great also for breads, buns, bagels as well. Stays sharp. It is high quality, light, and the perfect size and shape. This is a really excellent stone at a great price! It cuts incredibly fast, wears slow, and the feedback is top notch. It produces a refined yet toothy edge that bites into ingredients, and it works well on a variety of different steels, both hard and soft. It is a versatile stone that gives you a very functional edge. I also love the colour -- makes for quick identification and good visual contrast with the slurry. 10/10
